Hidden among the trees and fields is this lovely nature house with its own garden and several shady spots where you can completely relax in the nature around you. The nature house is fully equipped and is located in a small hamlet, on a cul-de-sac. Inside you will find a cozy, fully equipped dining kitchen in typical French style with wooden beams on the ceiling and tomettes on the floor. There is a wood stove, but in addition there are electric heaters. The sitting room also has a wood stove. There are games, books, a TV and WiFi. The attractive bathroom has a deep bath with shower, toilet and washing machine. On the second floor are the two bedrooms. Outside is nice to stay, you can lounge and play in the field. Pets are not allowed, all comforts are provided.
Nature and surroundings
Burgundy is known for its beautiful nature and this cottage is a 15-minute drive from the Morvan Natural Park and next to the Compostella route from Vezelay. In this lovely, hilly landscape, you will wake up to the sounds of cows, birds and insects, see the white cows in the meadows and have endless walks among the fields and forests. The Nievre Canal is five kilometers away, suitable for cycling or sailing with the canal boat. You can swim in the Etang de Baye or the forest lake of Merle; you can also canoe on the Cure or Loire nearby and fish can be done in the many lakes. Shopping is done in the larger villages of Premery and Corbigny, each 15 kilometers away. In the summer there are nice trips to one of the many brocantes nearby and there is a rich offer of culture and history, such as Vezelay, Bibracte, Montoison, Roman excavations, Charité, etcetera. For wine lovers, there is Tannay, Pouilly, Sancerre, Chablis and Auxerre and good food
