USP: for the adventurer! Do you have a 4WD and want to drive a kind of Paris-Dakar yourself? Then this is your chance! Road up to 40% rise! We have a 33-year-old fiat 4WD and I think the emergency road is super cool to drive! (with buckling knees the first time) But as a reward you have a fantastic place equipped with many conveniences (no wifi!). Freedom and privacy! Unspoiled nature. You have 2 cheerfully painted and nicely decorated mobile homes; a living/sleeping car and a kitchen/shower/toilet car. Both with large covered terraces of 12 and 16 m². These are on a sheltered site the size of a soccer field. This place is in the foothills of the Alps and only 26 kilometers from the Mediterranean. There is plenty of sun and a section where eucalyptus trees provide wonderful, filtered shade. There are several pools nearby where you can swim/refresh. On the grounds there is another picnic table and hammocks. You can also enjoy sleeping on the terrace.
Nature and surroundings
In the immediate vicinity you can hike and swim. There is water from the stream, electricity from solar panels but no wifi! By car you have the beautiful, mountainous area with its fantastic villages and the sea at your disposal. SanRemo, Monaco and Nice are a stone's throw away. But you can also stroll along the boulevards in Bordighera and Ventimiglia. In the summer there are all kinds of festivities, such as concerts, dining and shopping evenings. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the delicious Italian cuisine. There are plenty of restaurants in Pigna to enjoy delicious Italian food and taste the regional dishes. The times you cook yourself on gas (2 burners, plus a large wok burner or gas barbecue) you can get everything fresh at the covered market in Ventimiglia to prepare the most delicious meals yourself in your own little paradise. There are a few Italian cookbooks. The big supermarkets are in Ventimiglia and all the villages have alimentarie.

We hadden een heerlijke week in de pipowagens. Deze zijn perfect uitgerust, hoewel klein, is alles voorhanden en met oog voor detail ingericht. Heel aangenaam! Ondanks de warme temperaturen, was het terrein van de pipowagens betrekkelijk koel. Ook het water aan het terrein was een heerlijke verfrissing. Ook de kinderen (12 en 9) vonden dit een heerlijk verblijf. Voor echt kleine kinderen lijkt me dit verblijf minder geschikt. Op en top buitenleven, als je van de natuur houdt, is dit een paradijs!
Hans en Wilma zijn super gastvrij en attent, alle communicatie en afspraken verliepen vlekkeloos, echt top!De omgeving is prachtig, heel mooie bergen, prachtige oude dorpjes en overal heel rustig. Enige nadeel voor ons was dat we graag gezien waren door de muggen ;-)
