This nature house is an attractive and cozy family home. It is simply furnished but fully equipped. The cottage is used a lot by ourselves, so do not expect a brand new vacation home. Outside there is a hot tub (on wood fire), there is a terrace with fire pit. Play/camping area is also available. There is a large living/living kitchen (simple) and you will find two bedrooms with double beds. Two bathrooms: one separate and one of the bedrooms has a private bathroom with a shower. Downstairs in the basement are another living and sleeping area, with wood stove. The house also has three baby beds, a changing pad and high chairs, also a basket of toys, a closet with DVDs and books. And there is no (!) WIFI in the cottage, but 4G does it perfectly. A pet is welcome, but not allowed loose around the house, unaccompanied by the owner. So that our neighbors can not be bothered by this happy four-legged friend.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is on a hill, detached and the last house of a small hamlet of 4 houses. The view is magnificent. At 15 kilometers there is a large lake, where (even small children) can swim safely. The area in which the house is located is a protected nature reserve: Parc Naturel Regional du Morvan. From the house alone there are five hiking trails in all directions. The Morvan itself has many hundreds of hiking trails. Fifty kilometers away is the wine region of Burgundy with its gastronomy, culture and history. Two kilometers away there is a village with a simple village store. Fifteen kilometers away there are two large towns (Autun and Seaulieu) with a large and diverse range of stores. Autun is an ancient city, founded around the beginning of our era, with a rich Roman and medieval history. Napoleon received his military education there and Taylleirand was bishop there.
