This farmhouse was built in 1811. Originally, the nature house was a typical Ardennes farmstead with an adjoining house for the stable boy. Later, "the witch of Cornimont" found shelter here. Artisanal witch dolls were sold and drinks served here for many years. Now this farmhouse has been converted into a tasteful nature house for nine + six people. This house can be rented for 15 or 9 people. The kitchen, lounge, dining room and veranda are located in the central part (suitable for nine people). In the stable house there are six additional sleeping places. In the cozy parlor you breathe in the atmosphere of 200 years ago. Hearth fire is still authentic. The porch has been converted into a more spacious parlor. Here there is also a fireplace and a kicker table. All other rooms have been substantially taken care of and renovated (2015). In the kitchen you will find everything you need to make it a culinary weekend. The storage room is equipped with extra refrigerator and freezer.
Nature and surroundings
Cornimont is a charming village with only 45 inhabitants, located just three kilometers from the Semois River. Ideal for a sporty stay; walks, mountain bike trail, kayak, petanque.... Please note that the deposit must be paid in advance to the landlord and cannot be paid on site.
