In the Belgian Ardennes, on the edge of the forest, is this old hotel that has been converted into a luxury stay for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and gourmets, The nature house is located outside the village of Les Forges and has 5x2p room and 1 room with bunk beds. There are also 4(!) beautiful bathrooms, all with walk-in showers, one with an authentic bathtub on legs. In addition to the large wood stove, the whole house has central heating. Nature and surroundings
In the garden behind the house flows a small stream, ice cold water directly from the Bru spring. In this stream you regularly see small trout, which grow up slowly until they are big enough to swim in the river Lienne. There is also a fire pit in the garden and a large stone barbecue. On the terrace there is a long dining table. From the garden you can walk straight into the vast forest and there is a good chance of spotting deer, foxes, badgers or wild boars. Zeer fijn huis, smaakvol ingericht. Aangenaam dat er lakens en handdoeken worden voorzien. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Pizzaruimte met houtoven is heel leuk. Huisje ligt op een baan waar er 90 gereden mag worden, maar geen druk verkeer. Je kan vanuit het huis zo de bossen in voor een fijne wandeling.

Ook zeer leuk dat onze hondjes welkom waren.
Daar we een sciliaanse in de familie hadden hebben we lekker pizza,s kunnen eten uit de pizzaoven.
Wat we wel miste tijdens de kerstdagen was de tradionele kerstboom.
Alsook de verschillende vertrekken waren moeilijk warm te krijgen bij vriestemperaturen.
Alleen de kamer met houtkachel was aangenaam warm maar daardoor liepen de kosten van brandhout wel op.
De laadpaal is ook een pluspunt.
