Nature house in Graauw

Sleep under a tent canvas, but in a real bed with good mattresses. In short, a wonderful shelter with all the necessary comforts. This nature cottage really brings you close to nature. Its location, in the middle of a food forest, has its charms in all seasons. There is one bedroom with a double canopy bed and a closet. The other bedroom has two bunk beds. All beds have single comforters and pillows. In the spacious living/cooking area there is a four-burner gas stove, refrigerator, sink with cold running water and the necessary kitchen utensils. The living/cooking area is separated from the sleeping area by a wooden wall. There is electricity and a stove. The sanitary building with showers, toilets and washing-up area is within walking distance. The hosts use a helophyte filter, a proprietary wastewater treatment system. As a result, only biodegradable products may be used.

You will find the nature house in the middle of the polders of Graauw, a hamlet near the river Scheldt, between the orchards and fields. It is wonderful cycling, walking or touring along the dikes in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, enjoying wide views over the fields. For nature lovers, the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands, is just around the corner. Looking for history, culture, the Burgundian lifestyle, conviviality and shopping? You'll find it all in the fortified town of Hulst, eight kilometers from Graauw. Or have a nice day out to Antwerp (25 minutes) or Ghent (45 minutes). Already a few kilometers away from the nature house you will find several special cafes and restaurants. If you do not want to sunbathe and swim on one of the nearby Westerschelde beaches, you will find the Zeeland beaches less than an hour away. Sheltered behind dunes and dikes in Cadzand, Breskens, Groede or Nieuwvliet you can spend hours.
