Would you like to stay in a peaceful environment, but be close to the beach and don't feel like the hustle and bustle of a park? Then this rural nature house with very large garden, in the middle of the beautiful Zeeland countryside, is perfect. We renovated our cozy, former worker's house from 1904 in 2024, so it is fully equipped. The cottage is perfect for families with 2 or 3 children. From the living room you can walk right through the French doors into the super spacious garden with a great view. The beds are made upon arrival, the towels are ready: enjoy! Layout: living room with open (new) kitchen, including a dishwasher and oven. The bathroom with shower and sink and the separate toilet are accessible through the hallway (with washing machine) next to the kitchen. Next to the living room is the bedroom with a double bed and large closet. The loft ladder leads to the landing (with 3 extra beds) and the separate (children's) bedroom with a double bed.
Nature and surroundings
In and around this nature house you are always in contact with the beautiful Zeeland nature and fields. The garden with endless lawn is behind the house (not fenced) with an impressive Willow tree (with nest-swing!) and a great view as far as you can see. There is a barbeque, outdoor table, spacious terrace and a trampoline. In short; enjoyment for the whole family! To explore the area, the location is perfect with the beach and fine beach bars in Breskens less than 10 (car) minutes away or a nice bike ride of 20 minutes. The village center of Schoondijke is around the corner with a small supermarket and great butcher for the BBQ! Rather eat out? That's possible too: from a small bite in bistro De Buut in the village to luxury food in 1880 in Groede or the Kromme Watergang, a star restaurant. Extensive shopping can be done in Sluis, Knokke, Bruges and Ghent. The garden is shared with our other cottage, but is large enough to enjoy peace and privacy.
