Nature house in Earnewald / Eernewoude

A wonderful vacation spot in Eernewoude (Friesland) with a main house, in Bauhaus style, and an authentic, thatched cottage. Also very suitable for working from home, with good internet connection. Cycling, swimming, boating, hiking and canoeing, everything is possible. The nature house is located on an island and has its own bridge as access. The large garden is surrounded by water and reeds and gives a great sense of freedom and privacy. The main house is surrounded by a lovely, spacious, wooden terrace with several places to sit, fine outdoor fireplaces and a Big Green Egg. You have all the comforts, inside and out. There is a trampoline. You can use the canoes and supplanken to enjoy the beautiful reed lands behind the house. From the quay, where you can also sit comfortably, you can sail right onto the water. It is the ideal place for one or more families. Note: No groups but only families (with max 8 adults). Less suitable for the disabled!

The nature house is located at the edge of the small, Frisian village of Earnewald (Eernewoude), in the middle of the nature and water sports area National Park De Alde Feanen. The house is located directly on a small ditch (fun for children to row or canoe) and behind it on the Lange Sleat. From this large water you can sail away and you can go in all directions, into nature. You can enjoy fishing in front of the door. And also for the cycling enthusiast there are particularly beautiful routes. From the house you cycle in five minutes to Earnewald / Eernewoude. Here is a supermarket where you can buy many groceries. The beautiful capital Leeuwarden, with culture, stores, restaurants, cinemas, etc., is about 20 minutes away. There are three private parking spaces, where there is a luggage cart. From here it is a beautiful walk of 750 meters along the Lange Sleat to the nature house.
