This beautiful, free, quiet and centrally located nature house is a recently fully restored 'quinta'. It is equipped with all modern conveniences. The first floor is wheelchair friendly. The spacious living room includes a fireplace and a stocked bookcase. From the nature house you overlook a lush valley near the village of Marmelete. There are three spacious bedrooms (with 2.10-meter-long beds), three bathrooms, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, a pantry, an outdoor pool and a bathhouse, equipped with a separate shower and toilet. The country house is located in a nature reserve on 30,000 m² of private land with wide views, which is crossed by an ever-clear flowing stream. One small tip maybe, which I myself would have been very happy with, the water comes directly from the river and is therefore not clear, which discolors white/light clothes in the washing machine. Also the wifi is not quite stable, but after all it is vacation and that might just make it more authentic.
