Nature house in Mani

The nature house is a beautiful, old, traditional Greek, stone house and is located at 150 meters altitude in the middle of overwhelming nature in a small farming hamlet. With fantastic views of the sea (only three kilometers by road), villages and the mountains across the bay. Over 15 years ago, the landlords began the loving restoration of the old "manic" ruins while preserving the original parts and structure. The result is a pleasant mix of traditional elements with modern luxuries. There is a cozy living kitchen in which everything is available for good cooking, baking and serving. Two spacious living/bedrooms, modern bathroom, large roof terrace (18 m²) with 180° panoramic views, a spacious covered terrace with outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, lovely enclosed flower and tree terrace garden with both sun and shade spots. There are two parking spaces. The house is suitable for up to five people and can be occupied summer and winter. There is little tourism, even in summer.

The Mani - the other Greece; not yet discovered by mass tourism. With wonderfully quiet beaches close to home, a beautiful little bay with a white pebble beach. Here the sea is very clear and it is great swimming. In addition, there are two tavernas with terraces. In Kotronas itself, there is also a sandy beach. With mountains and mountain villages, fishing villages, cultural sights and the overwhelming beauty of nature and flowers, not to mention the numerous churches and chapels with their murals in the most remote places.It is truly a feast to wander along the ancient "kalderimi" or "monopadi", the roads paved with large stones that cross the ancient landscape from village to village. Nice towns are Gythio and Areopoli with market on Friday and Saturday. Day trips can include Mistras, Monemvasia, a tour around the Mani and the caves of Pirgos Dirou. In short, a wonderful place for a fantastic vacation.
