The nature house is located in the meadow of the Ölmühle in Kollig, on the edge of the forest overlooking the Elzbach. No internet or mobile coverage, the sound of the running stream and birds, the wonderful smell of nature and the view of the forest and the Elzbach make it a popular destination among nature lovers. The log cabin has an area of 20-24 m², is suitable for 2-5 people and furnished with two romantic bedsteads and a comfortable sofa bed. The whole is heated with a pellet stove. Furthermore, in the log cabin there are a dining table with four chairs. There is a separate room with a kettle, coffee maker, mini-ice chest and microwave. About 40 meters away we have our beautiful bathhouse with 2 luxury showers with rain shower and 2 toilets, an outdoor shower and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, in which it is a pleasure to cook.
Nature and surroundings
Nature and tranquility are the hallmark of this location. When you arrive, driving along the forest path along the Elzbach, you imagine yourself in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by forest, a beautiful waterfall just steps away and of course the Elzbach at your feet. The nearest neighbors are one kilometer away and the village of Kollig is 1.2 kilometers away. At night only the stars and the sounds of the forest, the stream, the eagle owl or a deer. In the morning you wake up to the singing of the birds and the sound of the stream. But of course there are also numerous bird species, you are not staying in a Natur- en Vogelschutzgebiet for nothing. However, when you are two kilometers away from the nature house, a beautiful, hilly landscape unfolds. In spring a painting with the yellow patches of rapeseed, in winter a winter wonderland picture. You literally only have to take two turns to admire the beauty of the Vulkaneifel....
