Our rural spacious gite dates back to 1880 and has four double bedrooms, two toilets and a shower. Al onnze beds have comfortable mattresses, most beds are lovely Auping beds with durable mattresses. Extra beds can be added if required. The house is heated with the large fireplace, fired with wood from Le Domaine Vert. The kitchen has a complete inventory, refrigerator, dishwasher and small oven. The French doors from the kitchen give access to the sunny garden terrace with large picnic table. The view is fantastic and you have access to more than 3,000 square meters of land. The pool is open during the summer months and is shared with camping guests. There is also a sauna (15 euros) and hot tub (45 euros) (wood-fired) that must be reserved in advance. Also enjoy our delicious dinners!
Nature and surroundings
The property is located at 380 meters altitude and about five kilometers from the village of Troche, in the middle of the nature of the beautiful Corrèze / Limousin. You can enjoy hiking, cycling, swimming in one of the natural lakes or pools in the area, canoeing on the river Vézère and fishing. Corrèze offers a variety of flora and fauna and if you come in mushroom season, you won't know what you're seeing! If you love a cozy picnic in a refreshing spot by the water, the hosts have several great tips: rivers abound! In the vicinity are Uzerche and Pompadour but also all those picturesque villages with friendly locals definitely worth a visit. If you want to visit a city, think of Oradour, Brive, Tulle and Perigueux. Back at the property at night, you can hear the sounds of the midwife toad, the seven sleepers and, of course, several owls! Then also look up and dive into that immense starry sky....
