Nature house in Möhren

The castle tower is part of the Schloss Möhren estate. The nature house is the north tower and uniquely located above the castle entrance gate. The view of the Möhrenbach valley and the Altmühltal nature park are most beautiful here. The north castle tower is one of the oldest parts of the estate. The north tower is a gem and left as authentic as possible. The castle tower is suitable for two people but with the pallet bed in the attic it can sleep four. The Gate Tower has a bathtub on legs, a small eat-in kitchen, is small but cozy and a living bedroom with sitting area, CD player and TV. The Castle Tower has a huge meadow garden behind the cottage where, with any luck at dusk, you can watch the deer from your garden chair.

The estate is located in the middle of Germany's largest nature park, the Altmühltal Valley, known for its rare landscape, idyllic streams and ancient natural beauty. Unique are the hiking trails along the natural phenomenon Steinerne Rinne and the highlight of the Altmühltal; the rock formation Zwolf Aposteln. But also the raw beauty of the primeval valley of the Danube with here and there an old castle ruin is wonderful. And a canoe trip on the Altmühl (which meanders right through the Altmühltal) is a special nature experience.
