Detached nature house in the yard of a farm where small fruits are grown. It is located near a hamlet at the end of a narrow, winding mountain road in a dead-end valley, three kilometers from the village. It has terraces on 2 sides overlooking the garden and the surrounding fields and mountains. Outdoor furniture is available. Previously the house was used as a dining house and there is a professional kitchen. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds that can be joined to make a double bed. Each room has a private bathroom. In addition to the fruit and vegetable garden and a greenhouse, there are chickens and ducks and some small livestock. If you bring a pet, it is important to know that there are six cats, that because of the parquet floor and hygiene your pet is not allowed on the upper floor (bedrooms) and that the gardens should not suffer from your animal's behavior.
Nature and surroundings
The hamlet where the cottage is located has about 12 permanent residents. In the summer months the other houses are moved in and the population quadruples. Right outside the yard with its vegetable and fruit gardens and animal pastures are the meadows and stables of the neighboring farms (with the accompanying sounds of farm machinery, dogs and cows). In the mountains and forests around the valley you can make beautiful (day) walks, possibly using cable cars (pianidibobbio). For cyclists there are about 3 steep cols, also these can be cycled directly from the cottage. Nearby (electric) touring bikes / mountain bikes can be rented. Lake Como is a 30-minute drive west, while eastward the beautiful Valle Taleggio leads to Bergamo (60 kilometers). Milan Bergamo airport is 60 kilometers away, the city of Milan (and Linate airport) 70 km, both also reachable by train from Lecco.
