Nature house in Vieussan Le Pin

Once upon a time . . . that's how all fairy tales begin. We spent a week in Aukje and Ted's cozy cabin. Breakfast and dinner on the covered terrace with wonderful sunsets. The bed is good, the shower hot, the oven and the kitchen equipment good and practical. Various hiking trails can be walked directly from the cottage. Aukje has lovingly compiled hiking and excursion options in a folder. There are also numerous travel and hiking guides. Our Kia coped well with the off-road, you just have to drive slowly. We made many excursions: Roquebrun, Olargues, Gorges d'Heric. Our dog enjoyed it. He could go swimming everywhere. We also saw a genet, but if the only bakery in Roquebrun is on vacation, it's a 40-minute drive to the nearest bakery and it might be sold out by 9.30am. So stock up on bread or have something else for breakfast.

Es war einmal . . . so fangen alle Märchen an. Wir waren eine Woche in der urgemütlichen Hütte von Aukje und Ted. Frühstück und Abendessen auf der überdachten Terrasse mit wundervollen Sonnenuntergängen. Das Bett ist gut, die Dusche warm, der Backofen und die Küchenausstattung gut und praktisch. Verschiedene Wanderwege kann man direkt von der Hütte aus laufen. Aukje hat Wander- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten liebevoll in einem Ordner zusammen gestellt. Darüber hinaus gibt es zahlreiche Reise- und Wanderführer. Die Off-Road Straße hat unser Kia gut bewältigt, man muß halt langsam fahren. Wir haben viele Ausflüge gemacht: Roquebrun, Olargues, Gorges d'Heric. Unser Hund hat es genossen. Er konnte überall schwimmen gehen. Darüber hinaus haben wir eine Ginsterkatze gesehen.
Wenn der einzige Bäcker in Roquebrun Urlaub macht, fährt man allerdings 40 Minuten bis zum nächsten Bäcker und dieser ist eventuell um 9.30 schon ausverkauft. Also Brot auf Vorrat oder was anderes frühstücken.

Bergerie Les Fons is a cottage straight out of a fairy tale. Nestled in the green forests and vineyards, it is an artist's hut, hunting lodge and hideaway all rolled into one. From the terrace you have a magnificent view of the Orb valley and the mountains. The 3 km zigzag drive through the countryside makes it clear every time how secluded and special this place is. We enjoyed it and loved it! The open kitchen leads into the living room/dining room with its large fireplace and cozy sitting area. Everything is very lovingly and comfortably furnished. We will gladly come back one day.

Bergerie Les Fons ist eine Hütte wie aus einem Märchen. Eingebettet in die grünen Wälder und Weinberge, Künstlerhütte, Jagdhütte, Hideaway alles in einem. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen grandiosen Blick ins Orb Tal und auf die Berge. Die 3 km Anfahrt im ZickZack durch die Landschaft macht jedes Mal deutlich, wie abgeschieden und besonders dieser Ort ist. Wir haben es genossen und fanden es grandios! Die offene Küche mit Übergang ins Wohnzimmer/Eßzimmer mit dem großen Kamin und der kuscheligen Sitzecke. Alles sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Gerne werden wir eines Tages wieder kommen.

Couldn't have been better. A fantastic self-sufficient cottage which is really fully equipped. A full kitchen that is great for cooking and baking. Two bedrooms and a fine bathroom. There is a nice living room with fireplace and wood stove which by the way you certainly don't need in September but looks beautiful :). The power is supplied by solar panels and is more than enough to charge several phones and laptop should the need arise. There is even a kind of office where you can work if you want/need to. Outside is a fantastic terrace where you can sit sheltered and where you can sit in the evening and in the morning to eat. It is just full enjoyment. The owners are super relaxed people who guide you well to the cottage, who explain everything excellently and respond very quickly should there be any question. Everything just totally super!!!

Kon niet beter. Een fantastisch zelfvoorzienend huisje wat echt van alle gemakken voorzien is. Een complete keuken waar je heerlijk in kan koken en bakken. Twee slaapkamers en een prima badkamer. Er is een mooie woonkamer met open haard en houtkachel die je overigens in september zeker niet nodig hebt maar ziet er wel prachtig uit :). De stroom wordt geleverd via zonnepanelen en is meer dan voldoende voor het opladen van meerdere telefoons en laptop mocht het nodig zijn. Er is zelfs een soort van kantoor waar je indien je even wilt/moet werken ook aan de slag kunt.

Buiten is een fantastisch terras waar je heerlijk beschut kan zitten en waar je 's avonds en 's ochtends heerlijk kan zitten eten. Het is gewoon volop genieten. De eigenaren zijn super ontspannen mensen die je goed begeleiden naar het huisje toe, die alles uitstekend uitleggen en zeer snel reageren mocht er toch een vraag zijn. Alles gewoon helemaal super!!!

What a fantastic place to enjoy nature and tranquility!!! The cottage is beautifully secluded among the vineyards and has a worldly view of the mountains around it. It is super quiet and you can really unwind here. In the area you will find a multitude of hiking trails and if you like us with your dog there are also plenty of places where the dog can enjoy the water. You are surrounded by nature, have beautiful sunsets and the only sound you hear is the wind and the animals around you.

Wat een fantastische plek om heerlijk te genieten van de natuur en de rust!! Het huisje ligt mooi afgelegen tussen de wijngaarden en heeft een werelds uitzicht op de bergen er omheen. Het is er super stil en je kan hier echt helemaal tot rust komen. In de omgeving vind je een veelvoud aan hiking routes en als je zoals ons met je hond gaat zijn er ook zat plekken waar de hond heerlijk het water in kan. Je bent omgeven met natuur, hebt wonderschone zonsondergangen en het enige geluid wat je hoort is de wind en de dieren om je heen.

We cycled a lot, the area is beautiful for that, though climbing and descending, but we did go down with the bikes on the car first. This could be a barrier, but we did not let it deter us. No regrets, it is worth it.

We hebben veel gefietst, de omgeving is daar prachtig voor, wel klimmen en dalen, maar we gingen wel eerst met de fietsen op de auto naar beneden. Dit zou een drempel kunnen zijn, maar we hebben ons er niet door laten weerhouden. Geen spijt van, het is de moeite waard.

A cottage with a big WOW effect. The road leading up to it suggests that it is very quiet and that is certainly the case. The view is fantastic and the location of terrace also such that you can enjoy it to the maximum. Especially the sunset is idyllic with the solar powered lights that automatically turn on when it gets dark. Despite being so remote, everything is present and functioning well. Solar panels for electricity, water from a well, well done!

Een huisje met een groot WOW-effect. De weg er naar toe doet al vermoeden dat het erg rustig is en dat ik zéker het geval. Het uitzicht is fantastisch en de ligging van terras ook zodanig dat je er maximaal van kan genieten. Met name de zonsondergang is idyllisch met de lampjes op zonne-energie die automatisch aangaan als het donker wordt. Ondanks dat het zo afgelegen is, is alles aanwezig en functioneert goed. Zonnepanelen voor electra, water uit een bron, goed voor elkaar!
