An adventurous mountain road brings you to this nature house in Le Pin Vieussan which is completely detached on seven acres of its own grounds in the beautiful Orb valley (Hérault). A real place in the middle of nowhere, all to yourself and yet only 20min drive from Roquebrun with several restaurants. The bergerie is completely self-sufficient with fresh mountain water from its own source, electricity via solar panels and herbs, fruit and firewood from the garden. The house with 2 bedrooms is suitable for 2-4 pers. There is no wifi but good phone and 4G coverage. With many (GR) hiking trails all around, it is the place to really get out back-to-basic. It is a cottage for all seasons: Mild sunny winters with a cozy fireplace, great hiking when everything is growing and blooming in spring and fall. And an outdoor shower with views and balmy evenings in summer.

The bergerie's garden consists of colorful flowers, almond trees, fruit trees and a holm oak forest with narrow paths and its own natural spring. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the valley, the river Orb, villages and the vineyards of AOC Saint Chinian. The valley is known for its Mediterranean climate, beautiful rugged nature, river beaches, many (GR) hiking trails and cycling and canoeing opportunities. The nature house is located in the Parc Naturel Regional du Haute-Langedoc, between Vieussan and Roquebrun (both 20min drive). And within an hour you are on one of the Mediterranean beaches around Beziers. In the nature house is an overview of hiking trails and all other activities and attractions nearby.
