This Achterhoek nature house is located in a quiet spot in the countryside between Almen, Gorssel, Harfsen and Laren. If you want to relax and enjoy a book in peace, hiking or cycling, then you've come to the right place. Literally for the door runs a clog path the Braakhekke Bultenpad. Through the beautiful Enken landscape. On the bike you are in about half an hour in the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer. The beautiful IJssel river basin is nearby and Museum More in Gorssel makes a nice walking destination. Bicycle junction Achterhoek 39 is 300 meters away. The cottage is fully equipped and you rent it including bed and bath linen.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in the middle of the meadows. The Achterhoek is known for its coulisse landscape in which rows of trees, meadows and fields alternate. Forests and heathland are within walking distance of the cottage. The clog path Braakhekken Bultenpad runs for the door. The Harfsensche Beek and the beautiful Ijssel river basin are also nearby. Roads are quiet here. The hedgerow landscape gives plenty of room to all kinds of bird species, ranging from geese, crows and gulls to goldfinches, chickadees and the green woodpecker. Rare species such as partridges and quail have also been in the garden. Sometimes you can see roe deer and hares while hedgehogs are regular visitors.
