The three attractive nature houses of this estate are tucked away in a beautiful 240-acre forest. On the estate there is the possibility to play tennis on the private tennis court and to play golf on the unique 1923 Heath Golf Course. There are three houses, ranging from 8 to 18 people. The houses are stylish, comfortable and authentically decorated. This nature house is the former gatekeeper's house. The house has been refurbished and decorated by the family. The nature house is a bungalow with wood stove and can accommodate up to eight people. It has four double bedrooms, two bathrooms with WC, a separate WC, a spacious terrace and it is surrounded by an ecological garden. The nature house is within walking distance from the greens of the newly built golf course The Links Valley. Of course, it is also possible to play 9 holes on the estate's own Heath Golf Course.
Nature and surroundings
The estate is 240 hectares and consists of forests with ancient trees, many footpaths and vast heaths. An oasis of peace and quiet where you can encounter deer and boar. The estate has its own tennis court and unique 1923 heathland golf course. It is located in the middle of the Leuvenum Woods of Ermelo. It is wonderful cycling here over the heathland, along the Hierdense Beek and along the various sand drifts. Bicycles can be rented and can be delivered by the renters. Several routes are waiting for you. Along the way there are idyllic spots for coffee, drinks and snacks, such as at the brasserie of Castle Staverden or at restaurant De Zwarte Boer. If you want to know more about the animals and plants of the Veluwe, then go on a trip with the ranger. The landlords are happy to arrange this for you. At dusk there is a good chance that you will see wildlife. During the rutting period, the impressive sound of the belling deer can be heard (mid-September to early October). The fortified town of Harderwijk with its various and good restaurants is five minutes away. The Veluwe Lake with beaches and water sports facilities, along with two wellness resorts, are in the vicinity.
