Just outside the Achterhoek village of Gaanderen lies in the outlying area called 'Gaanderhei' the old farm. Beautifully maintained old farmhouse with excellent facilities. Friendly welcome from the landlord with explanations. The toddlers were even allowed to help fetch the horses from the pasture...great!!! For even more quality of stay, a piece of carpet in the sofa area would be nice, as the floor is quite cold to the feet...as a "children's play carpet" we had spread out our car blanket there. Not in all bedrooms were enough possibilities to hang up wardrobe or towels.... but there were reading lamps everywhere!!!!! A wonderful wooden dining table with 12 chairs was the center of the family retreat for young and old...As the chairs are very heavy and noisy when pushed over the beautiful terracotta floor, it would be helpful and quieter if the chairs were provided with FELT SLIDERS.... All in all a very nice Nature house!!!
Sehr schönes gepflegtes altes Bauernhaus mit bester Ausstattung. Freundlicher Empfang des Hausherrn mit Erklärungen. Die Kleinkinder durften sogar helfen, die Pferde von der Weide zu holen...toll!!
Für noch mehr Aufenthaltsqualität wäre ein Stück Teppich im Sofabereich schön, da der Boden ziemlich fußkalt ist...als "Kinderspielteppich" hatten wir dort unsere Autodecke ausgebreitet.
Nicht in allen Schlafzimmern waren ausreichend Möglichkeiten, Garderobe oder Handtücher aufzuhängen... aber es gab überall Leselampen!!!!!
Ein wunderbarer Holzesstisch mit 12 Stühlen war der Mittelpunkt der Familienfreizeit für jung und älter...Da die Stühle sehr schwer sind und laut beim Schieben über den herrlichen Terrakottaboden wäre es hilfreich und leiser, wenn die Stühle mit FILZGLEITERN versehen würden....
