This nature house is one of two apartments in a country house near the shore of Lake Como. Each apartment has a private garden of 1000 m². The views from the house and garden are overwhelming. The apartment is named after the fresh breeze that blows over Lake Como in the afternoon from north to south. You can see this wind passing by daily from the house and garden. The house is located in the beautiful village of Nesso, in a protected ecological zone, just 40 meters away from the shore of Lake Como. This is also pedestrianized and in and around the villa there is absolute peace and privacy. The villa is surrounded by a fairytale garden that is lovingly maintained. Here you will find Mediterranean flowers, plants and fruit, including banana, palm tree, eucalyptus, fig, kiwi, pomegranate, grape, persimmon, raspberry, oleander, lavender and many other species whose fruit you may harvest during your stay. In the garden runs a small waterfall that becomes active when it rains and brings fresh mountain water through. There are several seating areas and tables and an antique tea house. You have a breathtaking view. The lake is in front of you and from the side you can see the village of Nesso with its old church.
Nature and surroundings
In the garden are several seats and tables and there is a gazebo with lounge sofa from which to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the lake and the tranquility. The shore of Lake Como is practically in front of the villa. Upon leaving the house, a path leads down to the lake shore after about 150 meters. Here at the ancient bridge you can swim right away. Exactly at this point fresh mountain water flows into the lake that comes from the famous waterfall in Nesso, the L'Orrido di Nesso. It is a spectacular experience to swim to this waterfall, a favorite pastime of younger Italians. Here on the shore you can board the ferry. It is possible to rent surfboards and take a private trip with a motorboat and an Itian "captain. You will then be picked up at the pier.
