In an orchard with 20 fruit trees stands this modern nature house, built in 2018. It is small (40 m² floor-opp.), but extremely cleverly designed and equipped with everything you need. By the way, the height of the ceiling makes the house feel very spacious. And the wide view of the lake and the rolling landscape on the horizon complete the experience. The cottage sleeps 4 and has a bathroom with a nice shower. The kitchen, including microwave/grill/oven, is complete, but what could be better than cooking outside over a wood fire or on the barbecue. Outdoor cooking utensils are part of the standard equipment. In front of the house you will find a sunny terrace with dining table, 4 chairs, parasol and sitting area. The hammock hangs between 2 apple trees. In the small harbor below (400m), you will find the 2-pers. canoe and 4-pers. rowing/motorboat, with which you can endlessly explore the large Ivö lake. On the plot (2,150 m²) surrounding the nature house you will find blackberries, raspberries, hazels and apple and pear trees. There is a herb garden and a small vegetable garden. Sometimes tomatoes, sometimes strawberries and you can harvest what you want. If you are very quiet, you can expect visits from deer and deer in the evening. Adjacent to the plot an endless beech forest goes up the mountain. From the cottage you look out over the large Ivö lake and the hills in the distance with the Baltic Sea right behind. It is always an adventure to take the boat to look for a nice overnight spot with a fire pit. With the sun setting, we swim a little bit and then sleep by the fire while endless stars are in the sky. The next morning breakfast with pancakes just off the fire. Here it really can be done, it is allowed and it is completely safe. By the way, southern Sweden has fantastic summers. Usually around 20 to 25 degrees and Vånga is often a few degrees warmer due to its sheltered location.
