A cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped nature house in the heart of the Frisian Lake District (Natura 2000). A nature house suitable for both summer and winter. It has three bedrooms with comfortable beds. A well-equipped kitchen. A lovely garden. Water sports, hiking, biking, or reading a book by the wood stove: it’s all possible! One bedroom is on the ground floor, where the bathroom is also located. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one of which has a sink. The village consists of just one street, a few houses, and a beautiful little church. The cottage is located right by the water—ideal for swimming, canoeing, or sailing. In the surrounding area, you can visit all kinds of characteristic Frisian villages and, of course, larger towns such as Sneek, Woudsend, Harlingen, and Franker. You can go on beautiful bike rides, including trips across the water via ferries. A canoe is available for your use.

The basic amenities are there, and the kitchen was fully equipped. You can enjoy sitting outside. The unobstructed view from the living room is amazing. It was a great week!
There were five of us, which made the living room feel a bit cramped. The cottage could use some maintenance and cleaning.
