You can do just that at this nature house, located just outside the village of Arfeuilles, in the La Montagne Bourbonnaise region of Allier, Auvergne. Whether as a stopover or a longer stay, you’ll leave feeling relaxed and fully recharged. This area, with its unspoiled landscape and stunning natural beauty, is well worth a visit. Here, you can stay in a relaxed, cozy, and family-friendly setting, enjoying a playfully and luxuriously furnished cottage. This cottage for four people (plus a baby, if desired) features a living room, modern kitchen, bathroom, sleeping loft, and a bedroom with its own private bathroom. You can also relax in the hot tub or the pool. Due to the changes in floor level, the nature house is not suitable for people with mobility impairments. If you don’t feel like cooking in the evening, you can enjoy a delicious dinner here upon request (along with guests from the two adjacent B&B rooms).
Nature and surroundings
You can start the day at a leisurely pace and then explore the surrounding area. The Montagne Bourbonnaise offers plenty of beautiful sights and experiences for everyone. You can do this either by following the hiking trails in the immediate vicinity or by heading out on a bike ride. The many beautiful, quiet roads make for a pleasant ride. In the garden, you can relax on various terraces, reflect on the day’s experiences, and make plans for the next day. The nature house is an ideal vacation destination for a comfortable, all-inclusive getaway—perfect for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet, hikers, cyclists, culture enthusiasts, and anyone who loves the good French life. From the house, you can set out on beautiful hikes. Options range from a short walk to the Barbenan River to a longer hike to Cascade la Piserotte, a stunning waterfall, and many more hiking trails, allowing you to fully enjoy nature and the beautiful views. The city of Vichy is a 30-minute drive away, as is Roanne.

Das Häuschen selbst ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch das Gelände drumherum ist ein Traum.
Was man aber unbedingt beachten muss, dass man, durch die Lage, immer eine ordentliche Strecke zurücklegen muss um einkaufen oder essen zu gehen. Auch wenn die Entfernungen nicht so groß sind, die Straßen quer durch den Wald halten auf. Somit gut vorbereiten um am besten schon viel mitbringen oder bei dem ersten Einkauf gut ausstatten.Absolut weg von allem, weit draußen und somit hat man seine absolute Ruhe.

Correcte, vlotte en goede communicatie.
De omschrijving van het huisje klopt helemaal. Het is goed voorzien, mooi bosrijke omgeving waar je helemaal kan tot rust komen en genieten van de natuur.

L'endroit est très joli et la maison est agréable et bien fournie dans les ustensiles de base. Nous avons été toutefois surpris que la maison soit mitoyenne et qu'il y ait également une autre chambre d'hôte, qui implique donc de ne pas être complètement seuls. La propriétaire est charmante et très disponible.
L'endroit est très agréable avec vue sur le jardin et les arbres en contrebas. Région très jolie et peu habitée ce qui nous a plu
