Nature house in Velieux

A truly special vacation cottage, beautifully landscaped and nestled right into the rocks. Even in the height of summer, the temperature inside stays a pleasant 24 degrees—a real treat after a hot day! The house is lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing family vacation.

We’d especially like to highlight Thierry, the owner of the property: a wonderful, warm-hearted host who provided us with plenty of tips and information about the surrounding area. Thanks to him, we’re sure we didn’t miss a single highlight.

And then there’s the drive there: the narrow, adventurous road makes you wonder for a moment on your first trip whether the GPS really knows what it’s doing. Our motto quickly became: Eyes closed and go for it! But don’t worry—you get used to it. And by the time you arrive, you’ll know for sure: This special place is absolutely worth every little adventure along the way. We had a fantastic vacation as a family!

Ein ganz besonderes Ferienhäuschen, wunderschön angelegt und direkt in die Felsen eingebettet. Selbst im Hochsommer herrschen drinnen angenehme 24 Grad – eine Wohltat nach einem heißen Tag! Das Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Familienurlaub braucht.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Thierry, den Besitzer der Anlage: ein wundervoller, herzlicher Gastgeber, der uns mit zahlreichen Tipps und Informationen zur Umgebung versorgt hat. Dank ihm haben wir garantiert kein Highlight verpasst.

Und dann wäre da noch die Anfahrt: Die schmale, abenteuerliche Straße lässt einen beim ersten Mal kurz überlegen, ob das Navi wirklich weiß, was es tut. Unser Motto wurde schnell: Augen zu und durch! Aber keine Sorge – man gewöhnt sich daran. Und spätestens bei der Ankunft weiß man: Dieser besondere Ort ist jedes kleine Abenteuer auf dem Weg absolut wert. Wir hatten als Familie einen traumhaften Urlaub!

A little slice of paradise in the heart of nature! The vacation cottage is nestled in a beautiful valley, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery—a small green oasis, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As soon as you arrive, you can feel the special tranquility of this place. A small stream winds its way through the few vacation cottages, and its gentle babbling accompanies you throughout the day, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. It’s especially lovely to lie in one of the hammocks, listen to the water and the sounds of nature, and simply lose track of time. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and true relaxation, you’ll find a dreamlike retreat here. For us, it was exactly the right place to unwind and recharge.

Ein kleines Paradies mitten in der Natur! Das Ferienhäuschen liegt eingebettet in einem wunderschönen Tal, umgeben von Bergen und üppigem Grün – eine kleine grüne Oase, fernab von Hektik und Alltag. Schon bei der Ankunft spürt man die besondere Ruhe dieses Ortes. Ein kleiner Bach schlängelt sich durch die wenigen Ferienhäuschen, und sein sanftes Plätschern begleitet den Tag und sorgt für eine wunderbar entspannte Atmosphäre. Besonders schön ist es, in einer der Hängematten zu liegen, dem Wasser und den Geräuschen der Natur zu lauschen und einfach die Zeit zu vergessen. Wer Ruhe, Natur und echte Erholung sucht, findet hier einen traumhaft schönen Rückzugsort. Für uns war es genau der richtige Ort, um abzuschalten und neue Energie zu tanken.

Super nice, children of 9, 10 and 11 had a great time at the river and pool. House itself is made with much love, and here you lack nothing.

Super mooi, kinderen van 9, 10 en 11 hebben zich goed vermaakt bij het riviertje en zwembad. Huis zelf is met veel liefde gemaakt, en hier kom je niets tekort.
