Peace, space and nature? Among the farmlands is this nature house, in a former stable building, rural and idyllic on a former farmyard of over 6,500 m². A beautiful location just outside Osterwald and Veldhausen, just across the border. You will be welcomed by the Dutch owners; also speaking German. From your terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view over the fields, interspersed with pieces of forest where hares, pheasants and deer are spotted. Your apartment is a semi-detached with old stable windows and wooden beams. Through the hall you enter the living room with open kitchen, (dishwasher, oven, microwave etc.) with dining area. There is a sitting area where it is good to rest after a day in Lower Saxony. On the ground floor is the bathroom with shower and toilet. Via an open staircase you go to the two bedrooms, where 4 new box-spring beds await you. Here is also the second toilet. There is a starter pack of coffee, tea, sugar, kitchen roll etc.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a quiet country road, in the yard of an old farm that is no longer in operation. Oo the large area are several seats so you always have a different view of the environment. Your apartment is very suitable as a starting point for making (cross-border) walks, such as the Podagristenpad and the Grafschafter Spurensuche. With the junction system there are plenty of opportunities for varied bicycle tours; on these routes are surprising small shelters with table and benches to confer, have a drink, etc. You can canoe on the Linge or Vechte. Or start the day with a very cheap-dive into the pool in Neuenhaus. And of course: Nordhorn Zoo, Bad Bentheim Castle, Uelsen, Belevenispark Emsflower, Emsland Moormuseum, Bourtanger Moor-Bargerveen Nature Park, Singraven Castle in Denekamp and the art town of Ootmarsum.
