Nature house in Oldeberkoop

This nature house, located in southeast Friesland on the outskirts of the historic village of Oldeberkoop, offers peace, space and nature. The house is surrounded by a (wild) garden. The comfortable house is equipped with all conveniences. The stable has been converted into the living room. There is a large kitchen, there are fine bedrooms and new bathrooms with a steam room. One of the four bedrooms is in the attic which can be reached via a steep staircase (you have to be agile) and low door/hatch. Otherwise, the house is on one level. You can take extensive walks in the adjacent forest or in one of the nature parks, such as the Drents-Friese Wold or the Alde Faenen. Enjoy cycling and visiting beautiful places such as Beesterzwaag, Frederiksoord and Wilheminaoord. In the cottage on the grounds, above the carport, lives Jan. You can run into him.

The area where the house is located is known for its coulisse landscape: meadows and woods alternate. The view from the nature house is like watching a play. The house is located in the Frisian Woods. In the immediate vicinity of Oldeberkoop there are a number of nature reserves, including Delleboersterheide, Diaconieveen and Stuttenbosch. Nearby you will find the Lende Valley, the Schaopedobbe and the Ketliker Skar. Also the Fochteloërveen and national nature parks Alde Feanen, Drents-Friese Wold, Dwingelderveld and Weerribben are not far. The house is surrounded by a large garden with a nice terrace and plenty of room to play. On the property is another cottage where Jan Willem lives.
