Nature house in Saint Hilaire la Treille

The house is situated in a private location on the outskirts of the hamlet of La Terrade on a lot of approximately 1,800 m². The first floor of the house features 3 double bedrooms. The master bedroom is very spacious and features two wooden wardrobes, a bench, and a vanity with a sink. Adjacent to it is a recently built, spacious, luxury bathroom equipped with a rain shower, toilet, bidet, and a large vanity with a natural stone sink. Three walls of this bathroom are finished with concrete ciré, while the other wall consists of the original, repointed natural stone. The other two bedrooms each contain two single beds (approx. 1.80 m) that have been pushed together but can also be used separately. A few years ago, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen was built in the so-called “kapschuur” (the hangar), including an electric oven, a Smeg refrigerator, and a Smeg dishwasher, and furnished with a large table that seats six (see below for more information).

From spring through fall, life takes place “outdoors.” In front of the open side of the “hangar” is a large terrace (a wooden deck measuring approximately 9 x 4 m) that offers a magnificent view of the valley and the surrounding countryside. This terrace also features a large dining table for 6 people with a parasol. In addition, the “hangar” contains a separate room that serves as a bathroom (with a toilet and shower) for the pool. A wide Roman-style staircase with 5 steps provides access to the pool (approx. 9 x 4 m), which features a spacious sun deck with lounge chairs and a parasol. The pool is open from May 1 through October 1 and is equipped with underwater lighting and a saltwater system that provides a pleasant swimming environment with less chlorine. For groceries, you can drive to St. Sulpice-les-F. (approx. 9 km) or La Souterraine (approx. 13 km) for the large French supermarkets, or to Limoges (approx. 50 km). The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities.
