Nature house in Abela

The place and the cottage itself deserve -especially for the price- to be restyled with more love. I would be happy to come and think along, if desired.

De plek en het huisje zelf verdienen het -zeker voor de prijs- met meer liefde gerestyled te worden. Ik kom graag meedenken, indien gewenst.

The cottage is in a beautiful super quiet place, sometimes you can hear and see a flock of sheep, nothing else. Ruud and Corine are very welcoming people and on New Year's Eve there was a bowl of homemade oliebollen; delicious! But the cottage is really not worth 117 euros per day. That is way overcharged. Everything is recycled stuff that is there and in the morning you wake up and have tingly limbs from the bed. It's a shame they didn't do anything with previous reviews on this. Given the price and the time of year is 10 euros for a crate of wood is not okay, it is the only way to heat the cottage. And it really could all be a bit cleaner. For comparison:Now we enjoy a 4 star hotel by the sea, with massage facilities, pool, restaurant with fireplace, bath for 50 p.n. And apart from the waves, just as quiet.

Het huisje ligt op een prachtige super stille plek, soms hoor en zie je een schaapskudde, verder niets. Ruud en Corine zijn zeer verwelkomende mensen en op Oudjaarsdag stond er een schaal met zelfgebakken oliebollen; heerlijk!

Maar het huisje is echt geen 117 euro per dag waard. Dat is ver overvraagd. Alles is kringloopspul wat er staat en in de ochtend ontwaak je en heb je tintelende ledematen van het bed. Het is jammer dat ze niets met eerdere reviews hierover hebben gedaan. Gezien de prijs en de tijd van het jaar is 10 euro voor een kratje hout niet oke, het is de enige mogelijkheid om het huisje te verwarmen.
En het mag ook echt allemaal wel wat schoner.

Ter vergelijk:Nu genieten we van een 4 sterrenhotel aan zee, met massage mogelijkheden, zwembad, restaurant met openhaard, ligbad voor 50 p.n. En op de golven na, net zo stil.

The cottage itself is not much, old stuff. Also not very clean. Very hard bed, no screens for the windows so you have the choice of either getting overheated or getting punctured. Refrigerator is also pretty depleted. I found out there was a freezer section in it with no valve because everything directly under it also froze. And because the valve is missing it also buzzes and bubbles quite a bit. So quiet outside, but not inside.

Het huisje zelf is niet veel, oude spullen. Ook niet erg schoon. Erg hard bed, geen horren voor de ramen dus je hebt de keus of om over verhit te raken of om lek gestoken te worden. Koelkast is ook aardig op. Ik kwam erachter dat er een vries gedeelte in zat zonder klep omdat alles wat er direct onder lag ook bevroor. En doordat de klep mist zoemt en pruttelt die ook behoorlijk. Dus buiten wel stil, binnen niet.

Mooi! Rustig, erg donker in de nacht en erg stil, mits er een schapen kudde langs komt met bellen. Maar dat is wel knus

Nice complete cottage in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately also little contact / tips to do / with the owner by Corona of owner. Response from landlord: Despite all vaccinations we still got corona. By the corona only on arrival contact (remote) had and pointed to the instruction booklet, including various visit tips including route descriptions. Further all contact via WhatsApp (daily), which did not seem to be a problem.

Mooi compleet huisje in the middle of nowhere. Helaas ook weinig contact/ tips te do/ met de eigenaar door Corona van eigenaar.

Reactie van verhuurder:
Ondanks alle vaccinaties hebben wij toch corona gekregen. Door de corona alleen bij aankomst contact (op afstand) gehad en gewezen op het instructieboekje, met o.a. diverse bezoek tips inclusief route beschrijvingen. Verder alle contact via WhatsApp (dagelijks), wat geen probleem leek te zijn.

Zeer rustig midden in een kurkeik omgeving.
