About this nature house
This ruralhut is a former stable where cows would spend their winters. It is reconstructed in a proper way sparing some of the details. The house has a spacious living-dining room with a nice 'palletstove' for some flames or extra warmth in the winter. The half open kitchen has a good quality SMEG stove with a large oven, a large fridge with a seperate freezer department and a dishwasher. The house contains four bedrooms (three double bedrooms and one six persons bedroom) and two bathrooms, both with a shower, toilet and a sink. On the terrace of the house there is a jaccuzi available for you. The terrace is connected to the enclosed courtyard, which is perfect for childeren and pets to play in a secure environment. The heated outside pool is open from the end of April till the end of September!
Nature and surroundings
"If one can say that Brugge is the Venice of the North, one can certainly say that the envirement of Herresbach is the Toscany of the North". In Herresbach one can find an absolute silence and peacefullness of nature within the beautiful countryside of the Belgium Eifel. With its magnificant sights over the entire Eifel, Herresbach is part of the German spoken part of East Begium and is surrounded by hilly woods in which one can hike endlessly. Herresbach is situated in the triangel of Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg and is therefore an excellent place to start your daytrips from. Not only hikers can enjoy themselves here (there are marked walking routes starting in front of the house, but with an available map one can explore the surroundings by themselves perfecly) but biking is also a challange here. For the real sporty biker the hilly surroundings offer you endless routes in this beautifull county. And for the less sporty biker, the Ravel-strecke (old railroads trasformed into cycling paths) is within reach and will offer an excellent cycling experience.
