The nature house is part of a castle estate and is located along the Velpe River. The cottage is in the midst of nature. On one side runs a stream, on the other side is a forest. There are numerous biking and hiking trails nearby. Are you with several people? Then there is the possibility of pitching a tent in the accompanying garden. You can also use the barbecue and firebowl. The cottage was recently renovated. The style is rather sleek, modern and functional. Special features are the two large windows on either side of the sitting area. These can be opened fully. On one side you have a view of the garden and the forest. On the other side, the window opens onto a terrace by the creek. Delightful! You can regularly spot ducks, water fowl and herons here. On the castle grounds you have two ponds, including one large fishing pond. You have an old baker's oven where bread is baked every second Monday of the month. In the former pirate house you now have a regional beer pub. The castle itself now serves as the town hall. The castle grounds are surrounded by fields. In short, peace and quiet reign supreme!

If you step out of the castle grounds, you are immediately among the fields. Hikers, cyclists, fishermen and nature lovers are well catered for here. Just outside the property you can stable your horses or rent horses.... It goes without saying that there are numerous equestrian trails in the area.
