The beds are already made for you, bath towels and kitchen towels are provided. There are 2 bathrooms each with a walk-in shower and double sink. The kitchen is fully equipped (induction stove, microwave, oven, dishwasher). The living room with wood stove overlooks the garden with a beautiful view. There is a spacious dining area. I found the layout of the cottage very cozy. We had a beautiful garden with great views and very nice nature in the area for a nice walk. Just 10min drive away there was a kayak rental place where we were able to do 11km on la semois.Only downside for me was the cleanliness. Cleaning crew does not work very thoroughly. There were still hairs in the bathroom of our predecessor and still quite a lot of cobwebs in accessible places where I think the cleaning team surely passes. The seat covers could also use a wash. (I think we left the cottage cleaner after turning and vacuuming than how we got it) Otherwise, I was very pleased and would definitely return to this beautiful place. Sauna was also blissful! (Luckily we had it to ourselves :))
Ik vond de indeling van het huisje erg gezellig. We hadden een mooie tuin met prachtig uitzicht en hele mooie natuur in de omgeving voor een fijne wandeling. Op slechts 10min rijden was er een kayak verhuur plek waar we 11km op la semois hebben kunnen doen.
Enige minpuntje was voor mij de netheid. Kuisploeg werkt niet zo grondig. Er hingen namelijk nog haren in de badkamer van onze voorganger en toch vrij veel spinnenwebben op toegankelijke plekken waar de kuisploeg volgens mij toch zeker passeert. De dekentjes van de zetels zouden ook een wasbeurt kunnen gebruiken. (Ik denk dat wij het huisje na keren en stofzuigen properder achterlieten dan hoe we het kregen)
Verder was ik zeer tevreden en zou ik zeker terugkeren naar deze mooie plek.
Sauna was ook zalig! (Gelukkig hadden we die voor onszelf :))Nature and environment were super. What we did not know beforehand is that the house was divided in 2 and therefore adjacent to another rented house. We did not have any problems with our neighbors.
