Nature house in Cornimont

This cozy and authentic nature house can accommodate 10/12 people. Vacations from the moment you enter : bed, bath and kitchen linen are provided, the beds are made on arrival. Weekend: from Friday 16h00 to Sunday 16h00 Extended Weekend: from Friday 16h00 to Monday 16h00 Midweek: from Monday 16h00 to Friday 10h00 The kitchen is fully equipped (fridge and freezer, dishwasher, induction, oven, microwave, coffee maker). The living room overlooks the garden and forest and has access to a spacious terrace. In the living room, the original Ardennes slate wall has been carefully restored. There is a wood stove, a TV with DVD and miniHIFI chain. In the gîte there are 4 bedrooms. In the largest bedroom there are 3x single beds and a bunk bed. In three other rooms there are 2x single beds. The bathroom has 4 washbasins and 2 showers. The nature house has a separate access to the sauna/infrared with an accompanying walk-through shower and a sink.

Cornimont is a small village of about 40 inhabitants in the heart of the Ardennes, about three kilometers from the Semois, surrounded by wooded valleys. It is the ideal base for beautiful hikes (ladder walk) or mountain bike rides (Grand Raid de Bouillon) Cornimont is part of the main municipality of Bièvre, located in the extreme south of the province of Namur, close to the border of the province of Luxembourg. Other fusion municipalities of Bièvre are Baillamont, Bellefontaine, Graide, GrosFays, Monceau-en-Ardenne, Naomé, Oizy and Petit-Fays. They are all small, rural villages. One can still see there some relics of former takak cultivation, as silent witnesses of a long-forgotten industrial activity. The little church, dating from the French Revolution, and the country houses with typical Ardennes slates and roofs make for a charming setting.
