Nature house in Cornimont

This cozy and completely authentic nature house can accommodate six to eight people. Weekend: from Friday 4 p.m. to Sunday 4 p.m. Extended Weekend: from Friday 4 p.m. to Monday 4 p.m. Midweek: from Monday 4 p.m. to Friday 10 a.m. The kitchen, overlooking the garden, is equipped with all comforts. (Large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, hotplates, oven, microwave, coffee maker) The dining room with its original wooden ceiling overlooks the front garden and terrace. The dining room is separated from the living room by a see-through cassette built into the old fireplace. The living room with restored, original slate wall overlooks the terrace in the front garden. There is a TV with DVD and miniHIFI chain. The bathroom has 2 washbasins, a shower. There is a separate toilet. The nature house has its own access to the communal sauna/infrared. At the sauna you have an additional private shower, toilet and washbasin. The intimate atmosphere of this relaxation area will certainly charm you.

Cornimont is a small village of about 40 inhabitants in the heart of the Ardennes, about three kilometers from the Semois, surrounded by wooded valleys. It is the ideal base for beautiful hikes (ladder walk) or mountain bike rides (Grand Raid de Bouillon) Cornimont is part of the main municipality of Bièvre, located in the extreme south of the province of Namur, close to the border of the province of Luxembourg. Other fusion municipalities of Bièvre are Baillamont, Bellefontaine, Graide, GrosFays, Monceau-en-Ardenne, Naomé, Oizy and Petit-Fays. They are all small, rural villages. One can still see there some relics of former takak cultivation, as silent witnesses of a long-forgotten industrial activity. The little church, dating from the French Revolution, and the country houses with typical Ardennes slates and roofs make for a charming setting.
