This nature house is a converted bungalow (approximately 80 m²), surrounded by over 2,000 m² of woodland garden. A wonderful place for two, in the middle of the varied and vast nature of the North Veluwe. The cottage has lots of privacy and is embraced by the forest which is ideal for bird watching from the porch or sitting by the outdoor fireplace. This unique house is high and spacious, with lots of glass, making the most of the surroundings even from the inside. The lovely, spacious porch at the back of the house has a table and chairs to still sit outside or eat outside in most weather conditions. An open wood stove on the porch can make it pleasant and cozy even in the cold moments, outdoor living is a given here. The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, large refrigerator, coffee maker, oven and dishwasher. Everything you need is available also for possible day guests.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the leafy hamlet of Schaveren, which is surrounded by a vast and varied natural area. There are many opportunities for cycling, hiking, horseback riding and sports, among other things. Through the versatile walking, cycling and riding trails you can enjoy the forests, moors and moors in and around the Crown Estates. The IJsselvallei is within cycling distance with its own unique atmosphere and nature. The garden has no fence, so nature around the house can be experienced optimally. In addition to a wide variety of birds, squirrels and deer are regular visitors to the garden. Although they are not visible during the day, this is also an area where foxes, badgers and martens wander through the garden. The beautiful, old towns of Deventer, Zutphen, Hattem and Zwolle are an average 30-minute drive away and are ideal for a day out. For shopping or eating out, you can visit the villages of Emst, Epe and Vaassen, all within cycling distance.
