This nature house is an authentic, renovated, Hungarian farmhouse. The farm is located at the edge of the beautiful, Mediterranean hamlet of Gorica in the hills in southwestern Hungary, on a 14,000 m² estate. It is located in the middle of the Mecsek Mountains. Situated on a hill at an altitude of 210 meters, the farmhouse offers complete privacy and the interior is characterized as a combination of authentic and contemporary. Many Hungarian elements can be found in it, such as the antique wood stoves. The pool is open from June to August and the university city of Pécs is 25 kilometers away from Gorica. In 2010, Pécs was the Cultural Capital of Europe, so it is more than worth a visit.

Gorica is in the midst of several nature reserves covering thousands of acres. One can go hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding. In the garden one can see deer and roe deer grazing. Many species of birds and butterflies visit the garden; even the golden eagle has been seen several times. For nature photographers it is an eldorado to stay here. From the veranda and terraces one has a breathtaking view and can even see the mountains in Croatia. The hamlet of Gorica has been inhabited for centuries by people who lived there autarkically. They grew their own vegetables, had their own well and lived off the resources of the nature around them.
