This nature house is a group accommodation in the former Purnode (railway) hotel built in 1904 and is suitable for groups up to 16 people. The group accommodation is fully furnished and fully equipped, including central heating, a fitted kitchen, sanitary facilities, a large communal area (with wood burning stove) and a beautiful campfire place. The valley is characterized by a decor of green mountain slopes, old railways and dark rail tunnels and is located between Namur and Dinant (± 2.5 hours drive from Utrecht). The flora and fauna in this part of the Ardennes are very diverse and numerous. For example, there are frequent wild boar, deer and foxes.
Nature and surroundings
The surroundings of the naturehouse are ideal for all outdoor sports. For example, you can go hiking, mountain biking and canoeing here. In the immediate vicinity there are also many rock cliffs to go rock climbing

Mooi gelegen, helaas geen zon aan deze kant van de berg waar het huisje staat. Fijne chillplekken bij het huisje. Er kwamen veel toeristen op de trein af op zondag die rondom het huisje rondstruinden. Dat was een aparte gewaarwording.

Hele fijne buitenruimte en omgeving. Binnen is beneden wat krap met z'n 10en, maar boven is er aan bedden geenszins tekort!
De beheerder van het huisje is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en hij was goed bereikbaar.Het huisje staat aan een doodlopende straat midden in de bossen. Door de grootte van het voormalige hotel (dit verblijf) en het voormalige treinstation (verblijf ernaast) is er wel kans op feestende mensen bij de buren (was bij ons het geval, maar binnen hoorden we er niks van. We hebben er weinig last van gehad)

Locatie top! Kampvuur kunnen maken is een troef. Een beetje klam binnen, maar chauffage lost dit op. Voor 12 volwassenen net groot genoeg. Een toilet meer zou beter zijn. Temperatuur douche zeer warm, niet te regelen. Bedden waren comfortabel. Kookvoorziening ok. Frigo was nipt qua grootte, maar lukte wel. Omgeving maakt dit wel allemaal goed. Conclusie, niet al teveel comfort, maar toplocatie! Een fijn weekend gehad.
