Quietly located nature house on the edge of a small, typical Ardennes village. The recent building has all comforts: central heating, wood stove, equipped kitchen, WiFi and TV (cable). Around the house a spacious, private garden, some trees and a flower meadow. The view is extraordinary, at the back of the house several hundred meters of fields, with nothing but wooded hills beyond. The cottage lends itself to cocooning, hiking and mountain biking, starting from the cottage or in the nearby area. A five-minute drive away there are shopping facilities for daily groceries: Carrefour, Aldi, an artisan bakery, etcetera.
Nature and surroundings
For nature lovers, there is always something to experience: there are deer, foxes, ermines, wistars, buzzards, red kites, sparrows, goldfinches and migrating cranes in late October. A good pair of binoculars is highly recommended. From the cottage you'll find yourself on quiet footpaths in almost every direction, where you can search the damp ground for game tracks, discover the rich flora or have a nice break over a glass in the small village pub. Seven kilometers away is the Semois, where you can fly fish, kayak or take a refreshing dip in the shallow flowing water.
