Nature house in Glux-en-Glenne

This newly renovated nature house is located on 1.4 acres of private land with a fast flowing stream. The cottage is completely detached and is surrounded by nature with no immediate neighbors. From the house you have views of several mountain ranges and in clear weather you should be able to see Mont Blanc. In front of the house there are hiking trails (GR routes) and you can walk to Bibracte, the Haut Folin, the Sources de l'Yonne and Mont Beuvray. The nature house is suitable for four people, there are two bedrooms with a double bed. Heating consists of a Jotul wood stove. Water is supplied by its own well. The cottage is connected to the electricity grid and has a living room, kitchen with wood-burning oven, bathroom, loft and two bedrooms. The house comes with two bicycles which can be used free of charge. From the cottage you can walk to Glux and Glenne where there is a petite Auberge where you can eat very good and inexpensive food. The nature house is located in the middle of nature and several hiking trails pass by the house. Around the house you will find all kinds of different flowers, including several species of orchids. Within walking distance you can walk to Mont Beuvray, where the excavations of Bibracte are located. It is a Gallic settlement, where excavations are still taking place. Also the museum of Bibracte can be found here. A short half-hour drive away is the Gorges de la Canche, where you can make beautiful walks along a nature trail. Also located near the house is the Haut Folin, where you can also walk along a trail. In the Morvan area there are many streams and water flows that you can follow.
