Nature house in Sauveterre La Lemance

Great place.

Prima plekje.

A silent pool disturbed only by birds and crickets. Ideal for when you want to get away from it all. The cottage is cozy, comfortable and beautifully situated there. Also very much enjoyed the sauna with view of forest. Beautiful villages in the area, delicious wine in the orchards and the owners do everything to make you feel at ease. The two houses are right next to each other, but there is enough account taken of privacy and that makes this place very suitable for eg with two families together but still a little separate on vacation. Top!

Een stiltebad dat alleen wordt verstoord door vogels en krekels. Ideaal voor als je even helemaal weg wil zijn. Het huisje is gezellig, gerieflijk en ligt daar prachtig. Ook heel erg genoten van de sauna met zicht op bos. Mooie dorpjes in de omgeving, lekkere wijn in de gaarden en de eigenaars doen er alles aan om je op je gemak te doen voelen. De twee huisjes liggen vlak naast elkaar, maar er is genoeg rekening gehouden met privacy én dat maakt deze plek heel geschikt om bv met twee gezinnen samen maar toch een beetje apart met vakantie te gaan. Top!

A very nice cottage where you are pleasantly received by the Dutch owners. A beautiful large pool where you can relax. Nice umbrellas for shade. There are still some things that need to be addressed at the cottage. We understand that the doors are going to be replaced in not too long. They are currently difficult to close with the key. Furthermore, the grouting needs to be addressed, but the owner is working on this. The tiles of the terrace are also very loose, which in our opinion also needs to be addressed. Nice that there is seating in the pit, so you can choose where to sit. There are many good umbrellas to seek shade. There is also a sunshade above the sitting pit which is really nice! Next door is another, larger cottage. Also nice that you meet other people you can talk to a bit during the vacation. To find a supermarket you have to drive a bit. But for a vacation so nice in nature with so much peace and quiet, that's not so strange.

Een heel fijn huisje waar je prettig ontvangen wordt door de Nederlandse eigenaren. Een prachtig groot zwembad waar je heerlijk kunt ontspannen. Mooie parasols voor schaduwplekken. Er zijn nog wat zaken die aangepakt moeten worden bij het huisje. We begrepen dat de deuren vervangen gaan worden over niet al te lange tijd. Ze gaan momenteel moeilijk dicht met de sleutel. Verder moet het voegen nog aangepakt worden, maar hier is de eigenaar mee bezig. De tegels van het terras zitten ook erg los, wat naar ons idee ook nog even aangepakt mag worden. Fijn dat er een zitje is in de kuil, zodat je kunt kiezen waar je gaat plaatsnemen. Er staan veel goede parasols om de schaduw op te zoeken. Ook boven de zitkuil is een zonnescherm aangebracht wat echt heel fijn is! Ernaast is een ander, groter huisje. Ook leuk dat je andere mensen ontmoet waar je wat mee kunt praten tijdens de vakantie. Om een supermarkt te vinden moet je wel even een stukje rijden. Maar voor een vakantie zo lekker in de natuur met zoveel rust, is dat niet zo vreemd.

Very quiet environment with lots of nature around you. Forests and nature all around you. The only pity is that you have few hiking trails running through the forest.

Zeer rustige omgeving met veel natuur om je heen. Overal om je heen bossen en natuur. Het enige wat jammer is, is dat je er weinig wandelpaden hebt lopen in het bos.
