Nature house in Verlaine-Sur-Ourthe

With the view of the Ourthe river, the rocks and the forests, you have all the typical characteristics of the Ardennes together. The house is tidy but simply equipped, and offers sleeping accommodation for five to six people. There is a TV with TV Flanders and a usb-input. In the rooms you will find a double bed twice. In one of the bedrooms is enough space for adding a baby cot. There is a sofa bed in the living room. In the kitchen there is more than enough new tableware provided and also the necessary appliances are available, such as dishwasher, combi oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and vacuum cleaner. The terrace and front door are accessible with a sloping surface, so it's wheelchair accessible. Outside there is also a stone covered barbecue. The garden furniture is in the garage. The car can not be parked in the garage, but you can park your car on the driveway. In winter you can heat up with the two electrical appliances and in the living room there's a heat pump. In the garden (1400 m²) the children can fully enjoy themselves, access to the river is via a gateway. Smoking is prohibited!

The nature house is located in Verlaine-Sur-Ourthe, less than 10 kilometers from Durbuy, Barvaux, Bomal and Hamoir. Through the garden you get on the walkway along the Ourthe river. If you follow this walking path, you'll be in charming Sy, in five minutes, where there are a few restaurants. The other side leads you to the Domaine de Palogne, where the children can play and where kayaks can be hired. The house is located in an oasis of calmth. Beautiful walks can be made in all directions and for everyone's possibilities, over the mountain range, in the valley, between the fields and meadows of the high plateau, along the Ourthe. For the enthusiast of wildlife and flora, the area is beautiful. Various plants and flowers are found and visits of deer, the kingfisher, buzzards and nuthatch are not unusual.
