Do you want to wake up to only the sound of birds and sheep bells? Then this nature house is the right place for you. This typical Norwegian nature house is located in the middle of nature and can be reached by a beautiful walk of about 10 minutes from the car. This cottage sleeps six and has a modern kitchen with electric stove, oven, refrigerator and microwave, but has no running water indoors. There is also a small bathroom with a so-called hyttedusj (shower with fillable tank and foot pump). Outdoor toilet without drain is located in the shed (so-called utedo). Water you get from the well located further away, which in summer is connected to a tap located next to the cottage. This nature house is a wonderful place for the absolute peace seeker and nature lover, without unnecessary luxury and with complete privacy without nearby neighbors.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in Gausdal, a side valley of the well-known Gubrandsdal. In and around the cottage there is a peaceful atmosphere and you can completely relax with walks and explorations through forests and fields and/or with a cup of coffee on the terrace, overlooking the valley. If you want to make larger, possibly multi-day mountain hikes, several national parks can be reached within 30 minutes to 1.5 hours by car. In the summer there are also opportunities for fishing, mountain biking and horseback riding.
