The nature house is in a very special place in the forest, on the flank of a mountain in the Pyrenees. A place deep in the beautiful natural park of Ariège where absolutely nobody comes. You are completely alone; the little house has huge windows that make you seem part of the beautiful Disney forest with all its animals. From your bed you can see right in front of you the beautiful plants and animals passing by: mountain birds, large ferns, strange mushrooms, badgers, ferrets, birch trees, storms, sun, squirrels, lizards, mountain plants, predators, wild boars, forest deer and vultures, with the mountains in the background. See everything up close through the huge glass wall, while you sit safe and sheltered in your modern nature house, equipped with all the basic necessities: bed, chairs, kitchenette and wood stove. Wood and gas are provided and included in the price. At night you can see the beautiful starry sky of the Pyrenees from your bed! A special experience you will not soon forget.
Nature and surroundings
Since you are in the mountains, you can hike from the nature house directly into the mountains to the beautiful peaks of the Pyrenees. You will get information about the walks. You can park your car in a parking lot close to the nature house. Your car is safe here, because next door are houses of friends who keep an eye on it. From the car you have to walk for about 20 minutes on a path that is sometimes a bit steep. Bring your walking shoes! There is a kitchenette with running drinking water from your own well and a wood stove with free wood. There is no electricity and hot water. The bed conveniently folds up to sleep two people. Your phone has coverage and a 3G network is available. There is a composting toilet outside. PLEASE NOTE: There is no cleaning fee, but the question is whether everyone wants to leave the nature house clean. Garbage must be taken out and also the toilet MUST be emptied in the designated place. The hosts ask you not to make a booking if you do not want to leave your own toilet clean.

Back to basics! Matcht volledig met beschrijving op de site. Alles wat je nodig had was er.
Minpuntje: ver van een makkelijk begaanbaar pad, weg er naartoe is stijl en smal en niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht te been zijn. Stokken aan te raden.Mooie omgeving, echt in the middle of nowhere!

Het huisje is moeilijk te bereiken bij nat weer. Wij ervaarden het als beklemmend omdat er geen uitzicht is door de omringende bomen. Je kunt er niet in de zon zitten.
Het was er heel rustig. Je zit midden in de natuur. De ruimte om het huisje is zeer beperkt.

Back to basics, genieten van de stilte en het mooie landschap. Tof huisje, we hebben hier 6 nachten doorgebracht in de sneeuw. Was de max. Kachel werkt goed, we hebben geen kou gehad.
Mooie uitzichten, ver van de bewoonde wereld, veel wandelmogelijkheden. Echt midden in de natuur.
