Situated on a five minute drive from the village of Rakitna this house offers a peacefull stay. The house has a big terrace with great panorama view towards the Pirin mounatins. Fallow deer roam around in a fenced area around the house accompanied by tortoises, birds and a diversification of wildlife species. The idillic surroundings of the house offer good possibilities for walking. Following the paths of the livestock gives you the possibility to enjoy the natural wonders of Southwest Bulgaria. The big terrace give great possibilities for long nights underneath the clean Bulgarian sky.

This ruralhut is situated in between the Kresna gorge and the Pirin mountains. Both are Natura 2000 sites and have a high biodiversity. Vultures, eagles, songbirds, Tortoises, Snakes, Butterflies everything can be found around the house. The house is an ideal staring point for discovering the natural wonders of Soutwest Bulgaria. In the area around the house (bird) photography hides can be rented and several guided and non guided tours are offered. A jeep safari trough the pirin mountains, a day birdwatching with a local guide or a nice hiking trip everything can be organised by our local team. Next to the pirin mountains and the kresna gorge several otheral natural areas are closeby. The sand cliffs of the city of melnik, Lake kerkini national park, Rila national park or the old vulcano crater of Rupite it is all within a 1,5 hour drive from the house.
