Nature house in Biggekerke

Perfect for 2–3 people and a dog. The cottage was spotless. Well-enclosed yard with patio furniture. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the shower works well. Other convenient features include the combination oven, the dishwasher, the freezer, the bike shed in the garden, the large refrigerator, underfloor heating, and radiators, etc.
The downsides are the very small bedrooms: there isn’t enough room for a double bed in the small rooms.
There’s also no proper garden table, so you can’t have breakfast or dinner outside in the garden when the weather is warm. There is already a parasol.

zeer geschikt voor 2/3 personen en hond. Het huisje was helemaal schoon. Goed afgesloten tuin en tuinmeubels. Keuken en benodigdheden goed aanwezig, douche is ook goed. Ook handig zijn de combi oven, de vaatwas, de diepvries, het fietsenhok in de tuin, de grote ijskast, vloerverwarming en radiators, enz.
Minpuntjes zijn de heel kleine slaapkamers: geen ruimte genoeg voor een tweepersoons-bed in de kleine kamers.
Er ontbreekt ook een goede tuintafel zodat men bij warm weer buiten kan ontbijten en eten in de tuin. Een parasol is er al.

We especially love the peace and quiet (a tractor passes by every now and then). The green surroundings and the flower-filled roadsides and gardens attract many garden birds. The sea, the dunes, and the beach at Zoutelande are just 5 km away. The village center is charming and nearby, just a short 15-minute walk away.

Wij houden vooral van de rust en de stilte (af en toe passeert een tractor) De groene omgeving en de bloemrijke bermen en tuintjes, hebben aantrekkingskracht voon veel tuinvogels. Op 5 km heb je de zee, de duinen en het strand van Zoutelande. Het dorpcentrum is mooi en dichtbij,en is een wandeling van een klein kwartiertje.

The cottage is tastefully decorated, the garden is well-maintained, and the location is perfect. It’s a great base for exploring the area—or simply relaxing in the garden and enjoying the peace and quiet.
Highly recommended! The hosts made sure of that! A fantastic place!

Het huisje is met zorg ingericht, de tuin is netjes onderhouden en de ligging is perfect. Het is een goede uitvalbasis om leuke dingen te ondernemen. Of gewoon lekker in de tuin te genieten van de rust.
Een aanrader! Daar hebben de gastvrouw en gastheer voor gezorgd! Top plek!

The cottage offers everything you need for a pleasant stay in nature! It’s clean, looks neat, has a lovely garden, and offers a view of the dunes. With your dog, you can head straight out from the cottage for a lovely walk in nature toward the dunes. Another great thing is that we were able to visit all the charming little towns in the area by car without spending too much time on the road. The cottage is in a nice, central location. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go biking.
As mentioned earlier, the double bedroom is a bit cramped, and the cottage is on a farm road where tractors, horses, and people walking their dogs pass by from time to time. Don’t let your dog act like a guard dog the whole time—just enjoy the place where you’re staying.
To be honest: you won’t easily find such a beautiful spot in the area! Thanks in part to hosts Annemarie and Jan, your stay will be complete. They can point you toward many beautiful spots and give you great ideas, and they’re there for you if you have any questions.

Het huisje biedt alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fijn verblijf in de natuur! Het is er schoon, ziet er netjes uit, heeft een fijne tuin en er is uitzicht op de duinen. Met de hond kun je gelijk van uit het huisje heerlijk in de natuur gaan wandelen richting de duinen. Wat ook fijn is, dat wij met de auto alle gezellige plaatsjes in de omgeving konden bezoeken zonder heel lang in de auto te zitten. Het huisje ligt lekker centraal. Helaas konden wij niet fietsen.
Zoals eerder is aangegeven is de tweepersoons slaapkamer wat krap en ligt het huisje aan een boerenweggetje waar af en toe tractors, paarden en honden-uitlaters langs komen. Laat je hond niet de hele tijd voor waakhond spelen en geniet van de plek waar je verblijft.
Eerlijk is eerlijk: zo'n mooi plekje kom je niet gauw in de omgeving tegen! Mede dankzij gastvrouw Annemarie en gastheer Jan wordt je verblijf compleet. Zij kunnen je op vele mooie plekjes en ideeën wijzen en zijn er voor je als er vragen zijn.
