Nature house in Hulst ( Walsoorden)

A part of Zeeland to relax with nice village. Highly recommended is a visit to Pavilion 't Schor where you can enjoy the view of the Wester Scheldt and see giant ocean liners sail by.

Een gedeelte van Zeeland om heerlijk te onthaasten met leuke dorpje. Een aanrader is om een bezoek te brengen aan Paviljoen 't Schor daar geniet je van het uitzicht op de Wester Schelde en zie gigantische zeeschepen voorbij varen.

In week 34 we enjoyed the Nature House Walsoorden with good and pleasant contact with the friendly hosts. The residence is located on a quiet country road towards Kloosterzande. On the spacious balcony enjoying the space and silence with the Wester Scheldt in the distance. Zeeland Flanders is for cyclists a place to be with plenty of space, tranquility with beautiful places to discover.

In week 34 hebben wij heerlijk genoten in het Natuurhuis Walsoorden met daarbij goed en aangenaam contact met de vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Het verblijf is gelegen aan een rustige landweg richting Kloosterzande. Op het ruime balkon genietend van de ruimte en stilte met in de verte de Wester Schelde. Zeeuws Vlaanderen is voor fietsers een place to be met veel ruimte, rust met mooie plekken om te ontdekken.

It was located very nicely by the Scheldt River! Nice view of the big ships and beautiful green meadows.

Het lag heel mooi bij de Schelde! Mooi uitzicht op de grote schepen en prachtige groene weilanden.

Sofa bed is not comfortable; chairs very hard and perceived as not comfortable.

Slaapbank zit niet prettig.
Stoelen erg hard en als niet prettig ervaren.

Artist Luc took neat care of everything. We, two young 60 year old girlfriends, felt at ease and had wonderful days. The workshop with silver was super fun. We learned to fill a mold with Brussels sand and use it to cast an object in silver. It is nice if you bring your own small and hard object of maximum 1 cm. For example a little shell or stone. Luc is also a friendly and caring host. Do not expect a luxurious modern furnished bungalow. It is nice and warm and cozy. The shower is fine, everything works, and the Nespresso machine from Magimix along with the wide view compensate for anything that might be uncomfortable. Walsoorden is a great base for all kinds of wonderful walks and bike rides. The land of Saeftinge, Hulst, the Scheldt behind the dike. Very special and surprising. Kind regards Henriette.

Kunstenaar Luc heeft alles netjes verzorgd. Wij, twee jonge 60 jarige vriendinnen, voelden ons op het gemak en hebben heerlijke dagen gehad. De workshop met zilver was super leuk. We hebben geleerd een mal te vullen met Brussels zand en hiermee een object in zilver te gieten. Het is leuk als je zelf een klein en hard voorwerpje van maximaal 1 cm meeneemt. Bijvoorbeeld een schelpje of steentje. Luc is daarnaast een vriendelijke en zorgzame gastheer. Verwacht geen luxe modern ingerichte bungalow. Het is er lekker warm en gezellig. De douche is fijn, alles doet het, en het Nespressoapparaat van Magimix samen met het wijdse uitzicht vergoeden alles wat misschien wat ongemakkelijk zou kunnen zijn. Walsoorden is een geweldige uitvalbasis voor allerlei prachtige wandelingen en fietstochten. Het land van Saeftinge, Hulst, de Schelde achter de dijk. Heel bijzonder en verrassend.
