With Lake Veere practically in the backyard and just steps away from the North Sea beach, Neeltje Jans, the Delta works, nature reserves Oranjezon and Oosterschelde, it is a wonderful base for cyclists and hikers. There are many cycling and walking routes available and in Kamperland there is a ferry that takes you straight to the picturesque town of Veere. From Veere it is then only 6 km to Middelburg, known for its beautiful city center and many monuments.Kamperland is a small village located on Lake Veere. It has two marinas and is therefore for water sports enthusiasts (sailing, surfing, wake-boarding) a concept. The village has a nice restaurants and stores (including 2 large supermarkets).
