This nature house is an old, restored house located at the end of a white country road, nestled among olive trees and lush greenery. Here, you can completely unwind in an oasis of greenery. The garden features numerous delicious fruit trees. There’s a wood-fired pizza oven, a lovely terrace with magnificent views of the valley, and plenty of parking space. If needed, you can also use the wood stove in the living area. Nature and surroundings
In Cingoli, one of Italy’s most beautiful borghi, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the steel-blue reservoir during the summer, and there are plenty of hiking trails to explore. Sports enthusiasts can also go mountain biking here or explore the surrounding area by bike, perhaps on electric bikes. Nearby is the Aquapark Verde Azurro, where you can play tennis, go horseback riding, or play padel. The Monte Conero Nature Park is a 45-minute drive away, and you’ll also find beautiful beaches there: Numana, Sirolo, Porto Novo, or Porto Recanati. Inland, the Sibillini Mountains dominate the landscape (skiing in winter). This beautiful cottage is even more stunning in person than in the photos, with views of a bucolic hilly landscape everywhere you look. It’s charming, tastefully decorated, spacious, and comfortable (mosquito nets on the windows, lounge chairs, walk-in shower...). Gino and Peter are very friendly hosts who love dogs and children. Our dog and seven-year-old were in seventh heaven in the garden full of birds, lizards, and little critters. (A fence isn’t necessary, as there aren’t any major roads or houses nearby.) Because of the hot weather, we went to cool off at Lago di Cingoli almost every day (dogs are welcome there, too!). Eating out is challenging for us because we need gluten-free options, but Ugolini just around the corner was able to accommodate us, and Cibariando (Jesi) and L’Infinito a Tavola (Macerata) were truly excellent. We also took a few day trips: the beautiful Frasassi Caves, the monastery of Fiastra, and, a bit further away, the port city of Ancona. The kids loved the Verde Azzurro water park (don’t forget your swim cap!).

Vanwege het warme weer zochten we vrijwel dagelijks afkoeling in Lago di Cingoli (ook honden zijn er welkom!). Gaan eten is moeilijk voor ons omdat het glutenvrij moet, maar Ugolini om de hoek kon het aan en Cibariando (Jesi) en L'Infinito a Tavola (Macerata) waren echt uitstekend. We deden ook een paar uitstappen: de mooi grotten van Frasassi, het klooster van Fiastra en, wat verder, havenstad Ancona. De kinderen waren zot van waterpark Verde Azzurro (vergeet geen badmuts!)
