A white stone ruralhut situated on a hill with beautiful views of the coast of Vendicari. A dirt road climbs, starting with a pristine golden sand beach, inland and leads up to a gate. Behind this lurks this house among the olive trees of a large estate that borders in the distance with the excavations of Eloro, a Greek city dating from the fifth century BC which it was destroyed during the conquest of Sicily by the Arabs. The house offers the wonderful combination of beautiful natural environment, rural and marine together. At 600 meters from the house, one of the most beautiful beaches of Sicily is located, with its golden sand surrounded by fragrant hedges of rosemary, thyme, myrtle, boxwood and mastic trees, typical of the Mediterranean, and interspersed with white sandstone cliffs. They immerse themselves in an incredible turquoise sea. To the south of this beach there is the coastal reserve of Vendicari that extends for 10 kilometers until San Lorenzo, near the village of Marzamemi. Just north of the beach there is the small seaside resort of Lido di Noto, this has a promenade with cafes, ice cream shops and a beautiful beach. At six kilometers is the baroque town of Noto, heritage of UNESCO. The property has a large garden with lots of almond trees.
Nature and surroundings
Only 600 meters from the ruralhut is one of Sicily's most beautiful beaches, with its golden sand, surrounded by fragrant gardens of rosemary, thyme, myrtle, buxus and mastic trees. To the south of this beach there is the coast of Vendicari, which extends over 10 kilometers to San Lorenzo, near the village of Marzamemi. Just north of the beach one finds a small resort of Lido di Noto, with a promenade with cafes, ice cream shops and a beautiful beach. The baroque city of Noto, heritage of UNESCO, is at a distance of six kilometers.

Cees May 30, 2018 General rating:Heerlijke rustige goed begaanbare woning.Voldoende groot maar wat weinig zit meubilair voor buiten en aan vervanging toe, wel een schoon huis met wat kleine mankementjes , zoals verlichting, deuren die niet goed sluiten of opengaan.
Nature, peace & environment:Mooie rustige omgeving, weinig of geen omgevingsgeluiden ( auto's of treinen) en mooi uitzicht aan alle kanten.

Pieter April 29, 2018 General rating:100 jaar oud maar mooi opgeknapt. Geen TV of afwasmachine maar dat deert ons niet. Schoon en behaaglijk. Wel vrij donker van binnen. Mooi ruim terras aan oostkant en westkant. De gehele ruimte is omheind en om er te komen of weg te gaan heb je een sleutelbos met sleutels nodig om de diverse hekken te openen. Dat is even wennen
Nature, peace & environment:Zeer ruime natuurlijke tuin met o.a. cactussen. Binnen 15 minuten wandelen via die tuin bij de Ionische zee. Veel bloemen, hagedissen, vlinders. Maar vooral ook de mogelijkheid tot veel culturele uitstapjes. Mooie stranden, iets later in het seizoen heerlijke zwem omgeving

M. October 12, 2017 General rating:Orgineel en eigenzinnig, aardige eigenaar, die overigens geen engels spreekt, tolken gaat via translate of zijn vrouw. Beetje rommelig soms maar toch erg leuke plek, huisje biedt voldoende comfort en er kan goed buiten geleefd worden. prima uitvalsbasis voor het moois dat Sicilië biedt. De prijs is natuurlijk ook heel schappelijk. Wij willen hier zeker nog wel eens terug
CiaoNature, peace & environment:Prachtig gelegen op een afgesloten privé terrein waren drie unieke huisjes ingericht voor een fijn verblijf, het ene wat comfortabeler en moderner dan de ander maar alledrie superleuk. Het terrein ligt op een paar honderd meter van een rustig strand met prachtig water. De huisjes staan te midden van de olijf en amandelbomen maar ook allerlei cactussen palmen en andere exotische vruchtenbomen zien hier te vinden zoals granaatappel en citrus. De eerste dagen waren wij zonder andere gasten op het terrein maar ook de dagen erna was er genoeg rust en ruimte om ondanks de bezetting van de andere huisjes geen last van elkaar te ondervinden. veel vlinders en zelfs een vos nachts bij het huis.
