In a picturesque spot in the middle of the Achterhoek scenic landscape lies this nature house: on a dirt road that offers access only to local traffic. Wide views, flower meadows, the Lindese Laak flowing by and the quiet seclusion of this secluded spot: you can enjoy and rest here in peace and quiet. The nature house is rented to a maximum of two people - in connection with peace and privacy, visitors are not allowed - and breathes the atmosphere of a cozy log cabin. It is built in part of the wagon shed designed by Rien Poortvliet in the yard of a farm. The furnishings are sober, but high quality. For example, the double bed (1.80 meters wide) in the loft offers excellent mattresses, a topper and down comforters. The bathroom has a duo bathtub; the toilet is separate. The separate bedroom offers the possibility of sleeping separately. The living room is heated by a cast-iron Morso stove, with a good view of the fire. From the living room you walk out onto the terrace with a beautiful view of the vegetable garden, horse pasture and surrounding meadows. In the morning, the terrace is bathed in the light of the rising sun.
Nature and surroundings
On the four acres of land surrounding the farm, the hosts have an organic Permaculture-based vegetable garden, a standard orchard, two cats, a dog and three horses. Directly from the cottage you walk through the meadows on several estates. It is possible to bring your own horses and explore the beautiful surroundings. The landlords have a Paradise Paddock and an outdoor arena. On a bike you can explore the Eight Castles Route from the cottage or grab a bite to eat at one of the many eateries the area offers. Hengelo (Gelderland) and Vorden are both about 10 minutes by bike, Hanseatic city Zutphen 40 minutes.
