Nature house in Nagyszékely

Absolute silence, space, fantastic nightskies and gorgious nature feature this vineyard cottage. The ruralhut is situated on a one hectare private plot at the entrance of the village. A little dirt road leads you to a beautiful authentic cottage that was used as pressinghouse (prezhaz) in the vineyard behind the house that was refurbished into a comfortable holiday residence with a modern kitchen, bathroom, a nice terrace with a view over the valley and a light and spacious bedroom in the attick. The house has an antique winetub for a refreshing bath outside, as wel as an outside shower, and once lying in the hammock you never want to leave anymore... Suitable for a maximum of four persons, camping conditionally allowed.

A wide variety of flora and fauna is to be found all over Hungary. Next to bird's paradise Hortobágy and lake Tisza in the northeast you can find Rétimajor in the neighbourhood of this vineyardcottage; a water area with a high diversity of flora en fauna. But walking out the door of your vineyard cottage you'll find a colony of bee eaters, a variety of woodpeckers, all kinds of (predator) birds, lots of butterflies and insects, but also game and badgers.
