This nature house is located at 600 mt. altitude and is part of a commune of 3 houses of which only 1 is permanently occupied. The thick walls insulate so it is cool inside. The house is built on 4 terraces. The entrance is through the grenier(attic), behind the house. From the grenier you go up the stairs to the living area. Outside is the main entrance which is 2 terraces below. In the hall there is a fireplace and you can sit comfortably. The shower and toilet are in the hall. Adjacent is the kitchen with wood stove and 4 burner stove. Next to it is a bedroom (library) with a double bed and a single sofa bed. The adjacent bedroom can also sleep 2-3 people and has a table with 4 chairs. Beautiful view of the valley. For people who have difficulty walking, this nature house is not very suitable because of the different terrace levels.
Nature and surroundings
Nature is beautiful here! The nature house is adjacent to the bois de commune, where hiking and biking is wonderful. There are many trees to climb and several routes to walk to the river. The Ardeche is volcanic and rugged. The rivers have small waterfalls, where it is sometimes careful. There are also beaches in the nearest town of Pont de Labeaume where you can go with children. A visit to nearby Jaujac is also recommended. At night you can sometimes hear the wild boars near the house.
